Security Program Positions

Background

The Center for Strategic Information Technology and Security has contracted with the Office of the Chancellor to provide project leadership and security expertise to assist in the planning, design, deployment and evaluation of a system-wide comprehensive security program for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.

The Center seeks to hire three high-level security professionals with substantial project management experience to form a team that will work closely with the MnSCU Security Program Director, the MnSCU Security Program Steering Committee, campus IT professionals, the State of Minnesota Office of Enterprise Technology, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify, refine and deploy the best practices that combine to create a world-class security program.

Implementation is expected to last approximately 36-42 months and include the specification of function security roles that are expected to become an ongoing component of the overall security program.
